Opening Times


New Summer Opening Times - Open from 11.30am till closing time all day every day.
Open Monday to Friday 11.30am to 3.00pm, and in the evening from 6.00pm.
Open all day on Saturdays from 11.30am. Open all day on Sundays from 12.00pm.

Serving food every day


Monday to Friday 12.00 - 2.30pm and from 6.30 - 9.30pm.
Saturdays food served all day from Noon.
Sundays food served all day. Last orders 9.00pm

Lovely lavendar
Created in 2005 the Lavender & Sunflower Meadow is a popular attraction for customers during the summer months. The magnificent two-acre plot situated at the rear of the pub releases a gentle soothing aroma in the breeze, and attracts a wealth of wildlife including a triumphant local bee population.

It is an ideal setting for parties and BBQ’s and has also proven to be a very popular location for summer weddings. The Lavender Meadow provides the ultimate in romantic scenery and is a superb photographic opportunity. The only one of its kind in Britain (to our knowledge) – it’s no wonder that wedding bookings have been taken from as far away as Australia and New Zealand.

It’s also a great place to take in the view over a refreshing drink and enjoy the wonderful scenery (our Swettenham sunsets are truly spectacular!).
